6 wedding venues we couldn’t help falling in love with…
Finding a wedding venue is sometimes no easy task. Does it fit the vision you’ve been imagining? Do you and your fiance have the same vision? What about the cost? What about the vibe? There are tons of questions to be asked for sure, and that’s no small thing. The venue will set the stage for the entire wedding and everything can fall into place once a venue has been set.
With this in mind, we found 6 of our favorite venues here in the SoCal area and they range in style and price. Sometimes with a little guidance from friends and family, and also your friends here at Love & Lace, perhaps the right venue for your wedding is not so hard to find.

Can’t go wrong with Spring wedding inspiration. Especially when it involves the ethereal nature of the Leanne Marshall Stella gown.
The Leanne Marshall gown is incredibly soft. With it’s luxurious silks and refined structured bodice, this is a gown worth just touching. This featured post on Wedding Chicks sends us a wave of excitement seeing the Stella gown captured so beautifully. Arynn Photography gives us a feeling of a light Spring air and ethereal spirit. Also in thanks to Spunky Sapphire Events, this styled shoot is sweet, lovely, and genuinely from the heart.

This bride in her fashion forward Truvelle Alexandra gown is so cool.
Fashion Forward Truvelle Alexandra
This adorable couple are not models. You would think so, but their real wedding was featured on Junebug Weddings. We were smitten even before we knew the bride was wearing the Truvelle Alexandra gown too. This gown is perfect for a fashion forward bride. With it’s silver beading and light grey waterfall skirt splits the difference of trendy fashion and a classically beautiful style. And we truly feel like any bride looks amazing on her wedding day because of the love that pours out of every inch of their being.
This wedding was captured by the talented Melissa Marshall at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and The Henry. The gorgeous florals were the work of Posies Floral and we love love love how flirty and light the colors are. Against the light grey of this fashion forward Truvelle Alexandra gown, it’s simply perfect.

Something Blue ideas can come in a number of ways.
Probably the most memorable are “something blues” from family. Perhaps passed down generations, a blue handkerchief as brought good luck to the bride of the moment. And your Something Blue is there for good luck. Based off of an old English rhyme, “Something Olde, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, A Sixpence in your Shoe,” we have carried this tradition with us for quite some time.
So how do you choose your Something Blue? We will always start by suggesting that you should do what you feel is right for you as a bride. That little something can “fit in” with your wedding or stand out. You are unique and special, and your Something Blue can reflect however you feel. You are the bride after all. 😉
Here are some simple ways to start your inspiration on how to choose your Something Blue. These may be tried and true, but they are all elegant and sweet ideas to incorporate this charming tradition.
